PAUL BRIDES advises on new company car advisory fuel rates that are to take effect from 1 March 2013.
Employers are advised that for one month from the date of change, they are permitted to use either the previous or new current rates. They may therefore make or require supplementary payments if they so wish, but are not obliged to do so.
The advisory fuel rates for company cars shown below will take effect from 1 March 2013:
ENGINE SIZE PETROL LPG
1400cc or less 15p 10p
1401cc to 2000cc 18p 12p
Over 2000cc 26p 18p
ENGINE SIZE DIESEL
1600cc or less 13p
1601cc to 2000cc 15p
Over 2000cc 18p
