Chester Director Andrew Hopwood has taken the trophy at Chester Professionals Golf Society’s inaugural meeting.

Hosted by Chester law firm, Aaron and Partners the new networking group is headed up by Head of Family law, Richard Barge.

The group’s first meeting was held at Pryors Hayes Golf Club in Chester. Playing off a handicap of 15, Andy was 14 points up after the first 5 holes, finishing with a total of 21 points from playing just 9 holes.

Andrew was joined on the course by Mark Reidford from Innes Reid who narrowly missed first place, finishing with 20. Finishing at a respectable joint 3rd place, with 18 points each, were Warren Hill from HBSC and Karl Rosendale from Baker Tilly.

Andy was delighted with his win and is looking forward to defending his trophy at the group’s next meeting.
