Champion Accountants has been approved as an official provider of due diligence services to companies bidding for the Regional Growth Fund.
The approval means Champion is now able to assist North West businesses in completing this crucial second step in the RGF application process.
Under the application rules, the due diligence report can only be completed by an RGF approved provider and the bidder must select a different provider to the one that assisted with their initial application.
Chester Director Andrew Hopwood comments, “In order to receive the approval, we were subject to a series of rigorous checks undertaken by The Department for Business Innovation and Skills. The approval is testament to the quality of our due diligence work and we look forward to assisting more firms with securing this valuable funding.”
The Regional Growth Fund is £3.2 billion grant is designed to help companies in England to create jobs between now and 2020, supporting projects and programmes that are using private sector investment to create economic growth and sustainable employment.
Earlier this month, twenty four North West businesses learned whether they had succeeded in securing funds during the fifth-round of the bidding process.
