Champion IT Solutions are warning SMEs about an important Microsoft systems change that has come into force this month.

As of April 8th, Microsoft has ended support and updates for Windows XP, Office 2003, MS Exchange 2003 and any 2003 dated server operating system.

What does this mean?

Businesses running any of these systems on their PCs will no longer have access to software updates, security updates, hotfixes, free support options or online technical content updates, all of which keep PCs up to date and protected. In short, these systems are now vulnerable to security risks and potential viruses.

Business owners should take action as soon as possible to ensure they remain on supported versions of Windows and Office, meaning their systems will be fully up to date and protected.

If you would like to arrange a free of charge, no obligation review of your systems or have any questions about any of the above, please contact Head of IT SIMON TURTINGTON on 0161 703 2500 or e-mail simon.turtington@championgroup.co.uk
