Welcome to CARMEL BROWN who joins our Manchester team as Accounts Assistant.
Carmel is AAT qualified and comes to Champion from Hayes & Co Chartered Accountants where she worked as Accounts Technician. Prior to that she held positions at Sage and also Bradford & Bingley; where she worked as a Financial Advisor for 13 years.
Carmel was attracted to Champion due to its positive reputation, coupled with a desire to move away from a call centre environment and return to practice. In her new role, she will mainly be involved in the preparation of Limited Company accounts for contractor clients.
She comments, “I’m really enjoying the role so far. It’s great to be involved in a growing area of the business and to be able to contribute to that success.”
Carmel lives in Astley with her husband, son and daughter. When she isn’t providing a taxi service for her two children, she enjoys walking, running and skiing and loves to visit the Chill Factor.
