Our Blackpool team have added a new trainee accountant, bringing the total number of staff to 15.
Eighteen-year-old Joshua Moreau from Wrea Green, finished his A-Levels in June and caught the eye of director’s Debbie and David after completing a week-long work experience at Champion Blackpool earlier this year.
Josh said: ‘’Everyone was so friendly and helpful when I came to do my work experience, which give me the push I needed to apply for the trainee accountant role.’’
Day-to-day Josh will be helping the team with accounts preparation, which includes bank reconciliations and analysis work. He will also begin studying for his ACCA next year.
Josh added: ‘’I’m looking forward to learning a variety of new skills within accounting and getting stuck in with my studying.’’
Debbie Thorn, director at Blackpool said: ‘’His work ethic and willingness throughout his week with us showed us that he was the right candidate to take the role.’’
A-Level results are released on 16th August, so from everyone at Champion Group we’d like to wish Josh good luck!
