2013 saw four Champion team members celebrate milestone work anniversaries.
It was a double celebration at Chester, when Diane Fowler from the Admin team and Paulette Thomas from the Tax team clocked up 30 years and 20 years of service respectively. Diane started her first day of work with accountancy firm Allwood Baird; this later became Allwood Baird Hack, which was where Paulette was to start her career. Another merger was to follow in 2004, when the firm became part of Champion.
Helen Jones from the Audit team celebrated a quarter century of service. Helen joined Jones Harris accountants as Audit Senior 25 years ago; the firm later become part of Champion in 2003.
In October, Blackpool Director Debbie Thorn celebrated her 30 year anniversary. Debbie started her accountancy career with Haworth Moore Chartered Accountants where she qualified in 1991 and became partner in 1997. The firm became part of Champion in 2007.
