North West accountants, Champion Accountants, has recruited a new management accountant to strengthen its cloud-based accounting offering.
The appointment of Elle Najar comes during increasing demand for Champion Accountants’ Xero offering, which has seen the number of clients using the platform grow by more than a third in the last 12 months.
The 25-year-old from Manchester joins the group’s head office in Worsley and brings five years’ financial experience. Her strengths lie in developing and implementing new financial processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs – two of the key benefits of the cloud-based accounting software. Elle will provide monthly bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT services to Xero clients.
Smart and intuitive, Xero can be accessed from any device to help clients stay connected 24/7. The software gives a clear, real-time view of a business’ financial situation and the paperless benefits and platform integration help to minimise risk and improve efficiency.
Ged Cosgrove, group managing partner at Champion Accountants, said: “We constantly innovate and evolve in line with new technology and our tailored cloud accounting solutions add another string to our bow.
“Behind all the technology is a talented team to make sure everything runs smoothly and clients get the most from the platform. Bringing Elle on board strengthens our Xero offering and will help us to convert more clients and manage the day-to-day running.”
Elle said: “Champion has a great reputation for hiring and developing some of the region’s top talent and looking after its staff, which is one of the main factors that attracted me to the role.
“Accountancy is changing with technology now a vital component and it’s exciting to be part of a forward-thinking business that puts itself ahead of the curve.”
Champion Accountants has four offices across the North West in Manchester, Preston, Chester and Blackpool, employing around 100 business and financial advisors.
