Champion Accountants has appointed three new accountants and auditors to its growing teams in Chester and Manchester, reflecting the firm’s ongoing commitment to meeting increasing client demand.
Joining the Chester practice are Sreelakshmi Prakashan and Orire Oderinde as accounts & audit trainee and accounts & audit semi senior, respectively. Meanwhile, Catherine Dootson has taken up the role of accounts & audit semi senior in Champion’s Manchester HQ.
These new hires follow significant expansion within Champion’s audit arm, driven by the firm’s proactive response to a surge in client demand. Champion Accountants continues to serve a diverse array of audit clients, with annual turnovers ranging from £1million to £70million+.
At Champion’s Manchester HQ, Catherine will leverage her extensive expertise to manage accounts and deliver a range of services spanning bookkeeping, VAT returns, CIS returns, and Corporation Tax. Additionally, she will play a key role in mentoring trainees and junior colleagues while further honing her audit skills under the guidance of Champion’s seasoned audit professionals.
Orire comes to Champion with a wealth of experience managing dental accounts. She joins the firm to diversify her skills across Champion’s range of sectors. Possessing a degree in Accounting & Finance, Orire will hold responsibility for accounts, delivering both personal and company returns, while strengthening the Group’s audit expertise.
Sreelakshmi boasts a strong background in management and finance, holding a master’s degree and a CA qualification at intermediate level. With three years’ experience as an audit assistant in India, she will further her career through Champion’s industry-leading training scheme, contributing her experience to the Group’s accounts and audit teams.
