Welcome to DAVID HERD who joins the team as Audit & Accounts Trainee at our Blackpool Accountants office.
Born and bred in Essex, 19 year old David moved to Lancashire just three months ago when his family decided to relocate.
Having previously studied AAT Level 3 at Cambridge College, David sought a role with an established accountancy firm that would support him in his studies towards a professional qualification. Since starting with Champion, David has already commenced his AAT Level 4 studies at Blackpool and Fylde College.
In his new role, David will initially be involved with preparing basic company accounts, gradually building up to preparing accounts of larger companies and assisting with company audits.
He comments: “This is my first accountancy role and I am looking forward to putting some of the theory I have learned at college into practice. The friendly and supportive environment here at Champion has impressed me a lot and I hope to be a team member for many years to come!”
In his free time, David can often be found teeing off at the local golf course and also enjoys cricket and football.
