Champion’s Chester office has helped raise more than £460 for The Brain Tumour Charity and The Countess of Chester Breast Care Unit.
Team members and clients gathered at the Bear and Billet on Lower Bridge Street, Chester on Thursday 19 June for a private charity screening of the England v Uruguay match.
Andrew Hopwood, Director at Champion’s Chester office, commented: “Our World Cup charity event received a fantastic response and, thanks to everyone that attended, we managed to raise a superb amount of money for two worthy charities.”
“The Brain Tumour Charity and The Countess of Chester Breast Care Unit remain close to our hearts after two members of the Chester team were sadly diagnosed with the conditions. Both diseases affect a number of families across Chester each year and we are immensely proud that our donations will go towards helping those in the local community.”
