Yesterday, chancellor Jeremy Hunt's Autumn Statement set out to boost the British economy.
The changes include a 2% reduction in employees’ National Insurance, an upward adjustment in the state pension, and a freeze on Alcohol Duty. 🍺
Hundreds of thousands of UK workers have benefitted from a 10% pay rise courtesy of the Real Living Wage scheme.
The rise sees worker earnings jump from £10.90 p/h to £12 p/h, whilst those in London saw a rise from £11.95 p/h to £13.15 p/h.
